Critical Accounting and Diversity: A Latin America Perspective Panel
Dear All,
We, Tassiani Dos Santos and Jim Haslam, from the accounting department at Durham University/UK, are hosting an international panel on Critical Accounting and Diversity: A Latin America perspective.
We will initiate the panel with Professor Susana Gago-Rodríguez, Universidad Pontificia Ccomillas, Spain, who will make a short presentation of the paper “A Fairy Tale with an Unhappy Ending: the Organizational Regulation of “Latina Accountant Identity” in Spain” published in AAAJ in 2024. Our panellists, Mary Vera Colina (Universidad de Colombia) and Fernanda Sauerbronn (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro/Brazil), will address gender-related issues and decoloniality from a Latin American perspective.
The panel will be hosted on the 25th of November 2024 from 2 pm to 4 pm (GMT/UK Time), and we welcome virtually all the critical accounting community interested in diversity, Latin America and decoloniality.
